Hello, I changed the category of this organism from Birds to Arthropods (I'm sure you put it there by mistake!). This little guy is a pallid ghost crab :) There are only two kids of ghost crab that live on Hawaii, and the other one has very prominent spikes on the top of its eyes (it's the horned ghost crab). The pallid ghost crab is actually a little less common than the horned, so great find!
