Description:

White to cream funnel-shaped mushroom with extremely crowded gills which exude white latex.

This mushroom is considered edible but is not prized for its flavor, however, it is said to possibly provide seasoning in its dried form

Habitat:

Highly mulched ridge in dense mixed hardwood forest.
