Field Notes

Description:

These little birds make nests out of nothing but dirt and saliva. They are quick flyers and are small. They are very chatty and make a series of shrills, clicks, squeaks. They will sometimes get into squabbles but they are short disagreements and don't often have major injury involvement. Year after year at my Community College they come and make their nests right under the awning of some of the buildings. They are one of my favorite birds to see at the school and are quite energetic.

Notes:

Cliffs and open country with suitable nesting sights.
