Description:

These spiders are expert fishermen. They will kill and eat fish, frogs, and other water edge insects. They are an interesting coloration and get their name from the series of white and black dots on their abdomens. They are a beautiful spider and can seem to walk on the water and wait for prey to get near.

Habitat:

Ponds edges and near wetlands
