Two-Lined Spittlebug

I went outside at 9:30 p.m. at night, looking for insects to photograph. I spotted an insect, that was resting near the right, outdoor, nightlight bulb. This insect, was about three sixteenth of an inch long. The color of this insect, was: dark gray, orange, and red. This insect, had six, jointed legs. The legs, was a reddish color.
