Field Notes

Description:

Small butterfly with light bluish-purple on the tips of its wings. Rests with wings folded up.
Seemed to have its rear end stuck to this blade of grass. Laying eggs, maybe? (I looked but saw none.). Injured? I unstuck it, and it seemed fine. Flew away.
