Description:

Family: Nymphalidae. Genus: Euptoieta. Upper side of wings is checkered black and orange. Black spots and black lines. Wingspan: 4.4 - 5.7 cm (1.75 - 2.25 inches). Adult food: Nectar of variety of flowers. Feeding on Coneflowers.

Habitat:

Front yard garden.
