Field Notes

Description:

A small oecophorid about 10mm long with distinct black and white patterns. The thorax has a black triangular pattern which is stark against the whites of the overlapping wings. Labial palps are recurved (pic #2)
Moth in Pics 2 & 3 was taken a year later.
note: First moth has right wing over left and the second moth has the left wing over right.
Underside was a grey- brown.

Habitat:

spotted under bright lights - near native trees
