Fun fact! It isn’t only humans that adopt young. There are many examples in the animal kingdom of wild organisms that adopt orphaned young of the same species, even when they are unrelated. As well as bears, this behavior has been observed in such diverse creatures as elephants, vampire bats and wolf spiders! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152736517865603&set=a.10152575329380603.958289.10150120463815603&type=1 https://twitter.com/projectnoah/status/323900982473916417
