Description:

Blue head, wings, and back rufous/chestnut red breast, shoulders, and mixed on the upper back.

Habitat:

A soccer field at a school.

Notes:

A small flock, probably migratory. I’ve never seen any others in town before, just in the sort of near by San Gabriel Mountains across Los Angeles.
