Description:

It is a perennial, herbaceous plant that can reach from 30 - 70 cm in high. The five bright petals are deep golden yellow color. The flowering period extends from May to July (obviously something earlier this year). It is both insect pollinated and self-pollinated.

Habitat:

He prefers fresh to moist, nutrient-rich and mostly limestone.
This species has the focus of its distribution in Europe and comes from Denmark prior to Sicily and Albania. It penetrates to the east and Russia to the Caucasus.
