Field Notes

Description:

Almost the only creatures near plants now. About 25mm long these larvae were fairly well advanced. Possibly the nicest coloured of the Perga larvae.

Habitat:

Melaleuca leaves in local parkland.

Notes:

Also seen last season.
on the same plant.

I was taking photos of these guys recently and wasn't sure what they were. It's the first time they've appeared on one of our bottle-brushes. Great to find their id. Excellent images. :)
