Description:

The Carthusian pink is herbaceous perennial plant growing to 60 cm tall, producing bright pink flowers (about 2cm in diameter) in tight inflorescence. The leaves are slender and discreet, difficult to notice on the stem.

Habitat:

Native to Europe, this species prefers dry montane pastures - such is here, a montane pasture on Mt Mourex, in a Geneva lake valley, close to slopes of Jura range.
