Field Notes

Description:

Canada Geese are a large species of goose. They have a black head and neck, white chinstrap, and a tannish brown body.

Habitat:

I first spotted this family of geese on a grassy area next to a pond with lots of vegetation at Sharon Audubon. When they spotted me, the male started hissing, and then they all got into the water and swam off.
