thank you MilesBerkey! it was on a side wall of mountain trail. on bare reddish soil. I added 2nd photo. I found next moss and this moss on same point. this one was around 50cm from ground, next one was 100cm from ground. I found next moss in 2nd photo too. :))

You have the family right. The genus is likely Polytrichum, or Pogonatum, or Timmia. or something similar, or endemic to your area. Beautiful shot!

thank you shawna.barker429! :) but creeping phlox is north american plant. this is our wild moss. :))

If it blooms in a mat of pink purple or white it could be creeping phlox (phlox subulata)
