Description:

First butterfly this year!
The male has the upper side brownish. The underside of the forewing is orange with black spots. The hindwing underside is green. The body is very hairy and green.The female has orangeupper side with bluff edges and the underside is similar to the male. Wingspan is 20-30 mm

Habitat:

Small prairie in a Holm oak forest
