Small insect, one of the first stoneflies of spring. Wings with distinct black bands as shown.

Habitat:

Found on bridge over creek, a typical place to find them.

Karen, your stonefly is in a different family. The "tails" are called cerci, and in the Nemouridae they are not as long.
Nice spot Eric! Is this the same species here? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/21041058 - I'm confused because it is clearly an adult but has the "tails" of a nymph.
