Field Notes

Description:

A green frog with a white stripe extending from the mouth to past the foreleg. They toe pads are enlarged and sticky, and there are yellow spots on the back.

Habitat:

Found in the southeastern US near lakes, ponds, marshes, and swamps. This one and several others were hanging out in cattails on the edge of a creek.
