Field Notes

Description:

Within Washington Square Park I had come across this bundle of assorted plants. I believe that the small pink flowers may be vincas but I am not positive. Additionally I am unaware of the type of plant the large green one with the flopping leaves may be.

Habitat:

New York City, New York

Species ID Suggestions

New Guinea Impatiens

Impatiens hawkeri

Comments (2)

Looks like the "floppy leafed" plant is a Banana tree.
