Field Notes

Description:

Beige and brown Scoop Wing Moth, 1 cm long. The third picture was taken in the same place on 2 Aug 2014 of a much brighter individual, but I think still the same species. Family Uraniidae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
