Field Notes

Description:

This Bamboo Shark was probably an adult, nearly 1 meter length.
The bands on the body is already fading. At Juvenile phase, they have clear dark transverse bands/segments, thus giving them the name of Bamboo Shark.

Habitat:

Saw this inside a cave tunnel, and for 3 weeks, it was resting at the same hole. They are nocturnal fish and will rest in the dark during day time, only coming out to feed at night time.
