Description:

A large herbivorous lizard, very heat toleralant also well camouflaged!

Habitat:

Hot deserts with creosote bush dominant.

Notes:

Found by 4th graders taking a "walk in the desert" in a vacant lot adjacent to their school. As the day got hotter there was a desert iguana under nearly every creosote bush.
