Description:

Stop, no pictures! This fly is brown with dark markings on the throax, abdomen and tips of the wings. The scutellum is a pale yellow color as are the propleuron, the tip of the prescutum and the mesopleuron. Habitat:

Plumelo tree in backyard orchard. "native to the Mediterranean, introduced (and so far restricted) to CA."
