You know- I think you are right. I am used to seeing them on large ponds. This was such a tiny pond and I took the images by mistake seeing white across the other side of the pond and when I got home to download them I was so pleased to see it was a bird. Thanks so much.
Sandpipers are my avian nemesis....but I'll give it a try... I'm going to suggest Spotted Sandpiper.
