Description:

I encountered this reptilian/amphibian in the rainforests of the Western Ghats around Agumbe. It is about 3-4cm in length, brown in color with whitish specs over the body and tail. The striking feature was the white circular patch on it's head.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest during the monsoon.
