Description:

Oxytate is a genus of spiders belonging to Family Thomisidae...one of the crab spiders .
Cephalothorax almost flat and cirular and narrows down near the eye region . The Lateral eyes are protruding with a yellowish ring surrounding them. Abdomen is long and tapers down towards the spinnerets .The front 2 pairs of legs are much longer than the back legs and often seen outstretched.
These spiders are usually seen on the underside of leaves .

unusual. Most crab spiders that i have seen have a rounded abdomen. Great find indeed!
