Field Notes

Description:

This Willow is different from other types of willows because its branches are red and its leaves wrap around the branches

Habitat:

Near a pond at Mentor High School, nest to other types of Willow Trees.

Notes:

The leaf stems on this tree wrap around the branches of the tree. They almost look like little seeds on the branches where they start. It was also very slanted and not very tall. Most of the branches touched the ground.
