I believe it is a Great Blue Heron because Reddish Egrets are found on the coastline of Texas not that far north. It is also not a Tricolored Heron for the same reasons. Also because the face looks somewhat white with an orange-yellow bill. Hope this helps!
Reddish Egret has dark legs. Great Blue Heron has dull yellow gray legs.
