Description:
A small translucent spider with hairy legs, brown markings on a squarish thorax and with a narrow oblong, tapering abdomen which was hairy too.Found on the outside wall.
I just discovered that this guy lives on the orange tree. I saw it descend on the leaf litter on a strand of web. It also confirms that the spider retreats which i have seen on the leaves, belongs to him.
Karen, this is not a macro lens, but a shot taken from a very close distance with no zoom. After that it was cut and crop.
Jumping spiders are awesome. They are friendly. They look at you. Best subjects.
Having good light is another advantage,
Hope this helps!
This is definitely a Jumping Spider. You can tell by the eye arrangement.
