Description:

Saw these on my drive home looking for food in the rain.

Habitat:

deciduous forests, beaches, islands, chaparral, sagebrush, mountains, desert, grasslands, agricultural fields, tundra, and ice floes.

Species ID Suggestions

These birds look more like a type of Grackle to me (light colored eyes, smaller beak). They are very likely Common Grackes, Quiscalus quiscula. Though I can't say 100%. Here is a link that may help. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Common_Grackle/id
