Description:
The Western Grebe is closely related to the Clark's Grebe and often the two are thought to be the same. Look closely at the dark black feathers on its head. They cover the eye ending beneath it. In the field this is an easy way to know that you have a western grebe
Habitat:
Western wetlands. They breed here in Utah
