Field Notes

Description:

large terrestrial orchid, growing on a steep cliff, not sure of the species

Habitat:

montane grasslands, 1500m

Notes:

I spotted this growing high up on a steep cliff and managed to find a plant in flower close to the edge to get some photos. Brassia are common in cultivation but this was my first time seeing one in situ.
