Description:
Salvia viridis is a quick growing sage species; it can reach a height of 0.60m. Its flowering period could last over a month and it is noted for attracting wildlife.
Habitat:
Observed on the Eastern Mediterranean in Hatay Province in Turkey. There were many of them growing dispersed alongside other wild flowers, herbaceous plants and grasses on this rocky meadow; Approx. Elevation 400 m.
Notes:
At first glance you would think that the blueish purple top is the flower, whereas It has tiny white flowers growing all along the stem.
