Description:

Yellow Spittlebug or Froghopper nymph only 3mm long. It keeps shelter in the spit which it creates and has several functions. It hides the nymph, helps regulate temperature, keeps it moist and also deters predators.

Habitat:

Cape Honeysuckle in the backyard
