Description:

Spotted in the jungle of Misiones, Argentina, where it was drawn to the light of our cabin at night. I think it was about 3-4cm.

Let's be happy with the subfamily... I think it is Phaneropterinae.

Thanks Bayucca. From Wikipedia: "Insects in the family Tettigoniidae are commonly called katydids or bush crickets. There are more than 6,400 species." I guess there's little hope of narrowing it down to the species? ;-)
