Description:
The species are brown coloured and have 100 legs, with which, despite the amount, they still move slow. They are punctuated, but its difficult to spot the dots. It can be found inside the trees, just under the bark. They live a long time, with females laying eggs every three years. Size: Male, 14 -17.5 mm Female, 14 - 27 mm
Habitat:
It can be found in western Europe including Great Britain. It can be seen around woodlands (like mine specimen), wetlands, grasslands, gardens. Usually under leaf litter and other debris.
