Description:

This is an adult northern cricket frog. This little guy is as big as they get and it's not very big as you can see from my thumb in the picture. They vary in color from tan to grey to brown, but they all have a Y marking down their backs. Caught in a vernal pool in Mason Neck Wildlife Refuge.
