Thanks for that correction, Keith. My usual NC butterfly resource page didn't list it and another one said it is rare in the area where I live so I wouldn't have ID'd this.
The yellow stripe near the base of the underside of the hindwing(visible in image 4) distinguishes this as a Palamedes Swallowtail. Gorgeous spotting.
