Description:

A common songbird in the Southeast, the Swamp Sparrow is true to its name and usually inhabits marshy/swampy areas. They can be differentiated from similar sparrows (Song, Lincoln's) by the minimal amount of streaking, and the plain gray breast and rufous flanks and cap.
