Field Notes

Notes:

Dzongu is an exclusive area in North Sikkim inhabited by the primitive tribe - known as Lepchas. The area is restricted even for us Sikkimese who need a special permit to visit. We were there to remember the occasion when our daughter Peden came for a break after her hectic chains of pageants events, ultimatley culminating in Miss Supranational in Poland. The place is remote, quiet and clean. Not to miss the opportunity I'm posting some spottings from the region.
