Description:

Sexual dimorphism, males have blue stripes features behind the head, females are more yellow-green color.

Distribution: Mediterranean Sea, eastern Atlantic from Portugal to Gabon, including Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands and Santo Tomé.

Habitat:

0-250 m depth
