Field Notes

Description:

A member of the toucan family but with a less brightly coloured bill but conspicuous heavy serrations on the upper mandible. Its plumage is mainly glossy black with brighter underparts, which are yellow tinged with red, and it has a dark band across its belly and a black spot on its breast.

Habitat:

Grounds of hotel.
