Yellow-rumped Warbler

Thanks Fran. All our maple flowers were killed in an ice storm that hit after they had opened, but the birds are still eating whats left. On the bright side not to many seeds to rake up this year.

You're absolutely right Jemma. I was SO excited to see these guys back. In my area Yellow-rumped are the first warblers to come back, and even though everything is currently covered in snow and ice, they are definitely a sign of spring!
