Field Notes

Description:

Straw and grass bottom. Mud on top. Two white eggs. Mother bird has a long tail. I think it is a mocking bird.

Habitat:

Suburban deciduous forest. Protected wetlands.

Notes:

Nest was created within two days. It is under the awning for the door of my classroom. The nest rest on top of the light.
