Description:

The predominant color is black, with a pale yellow collar, a pale yellow band on the second abdominal segment and a white tail. The nests of this bumblebee can be found underground. It is part of the genus Bombus which consists of bumblebees: Bombus lapidarius https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1398430932, Bombus pascuorum https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/568185802 and B⁠ombus bohemicus https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1727520719.

Habitat:

Meadow on a Canadien goldenrod.
