Description:

A medium-sized gray heron with a white stripe beneath the eye and on the head and a yellow patch of feathers where the beak meets the head.

Habitat:

Natural spring fed stream that feeds into a wetland in the middle of an urban city.

Notes:

It was stalking, catching and eating crayfish.
