Description:

i believe that these are lily seeds that I saw tossed by the ocean side. The winds must have been very strong to be able to lift and toss the seeds. Ever wonder how species travel across the oceans!! Never thought that it could be our friend the wind!

Machi, Thanks for your feedback, I decided to leave this as unknown. these were dispersed all over land and sea and it was difficult to pinpoint the tree.
They look like Erythrina caffra seeds, but if you scroll down on this page there are other similar looking ones that you might check out as well. http://waynesword.palomar.edu/ww0901.htm
