Description:

Large impressive moth, some 10cm in wingspan.

Habitat:

Urban setting, garden in mediterranean environment, rather dry this summer...

Notes:

I spent few days chasing these fellas in and around our house in Dubrovnik... we saw one of more of them almost every night. But I had no chance to get one of them through my camera, until this fella - who was unfortunately brought in by our cat, and was basically dying when I saw it...
