Field Notes

Description:

1cm - 3cm at most. An insect, meaning three legs on each side. Almost completely white, with cotton that come from its back, that they can leave behind on leaves where the've been. The front is pink or red, but is hard to see, because the cotton covers it. They have antennas that help the bug to know whats in front of it; the tips of the antenna are fluffy. There are three legs on each of its sides; also white with black tips.

Habitat:

Found in the rainforest's forest floor up to the understory. However, can be found a little higher because of its jump. Usually, crawling on the side of a leaf or rock. Only jumps when alarmed by something touching it or just movement.
