Field Notes

Description:

Pale green glossy moss with a flattened appearance. Stems little branched and spear-shaped.

Habitat:

Pacific temperate rain forest near sea level.

Notes:

Found in the forest along the Burns Point trail in Belcarra Park on Burrard Inlet.

fantastic moss! This P. undulatum was the first moss I keyed out. i believe the new genus name has changed to Buckiella.
